East New Market Fire Department

At approximately 4:32 p.m., Station 21 was alerted for a tanker for working structure fire in the 41-1 box. Engine-Tanker 21-1 responded with 4 and made it to the scene in short time. Upon arrival, members relieved the crew that made the initial attack and assisted with salvage and overhaul. Sadly, one occupant lost his life as a result of the fire. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim.
