East New Market Fire Department

On Saturday, February 2nd at 09:38, Station 21 was alerted to assist Hurlock Station 6 for a reported working structure fire in the 6-2 box on Pine Top Road. Engine-Tanker 6-1 was returning from a previous call and made a quick response. Upon arrival, they reported fire through the roof. Engine-Tanker 21-1 was the next unit to arrive and went to work assisting Hurlock’s crew. The call eventually went to three alarms and was brought under control with extensive overhaul needed. Crews from Engine 21-2 and Engine-Tanker 21-1 remained on the scene for approximately 4 hours.
